When professionals focus on giving parents knowledge and skills, parents will be able to support their children 24/7

Conferences and speaking events

Being a professional and a mother of a child with special needs has given me a unique perspective, where I can see issues from both sides of the fence.

My experience in parenting a child with autism and receiving clinical services has influenced how I work with families today.

In my talks to professionals and organisations, I share what changes I have made in my own professional practice in order to become more family centred.

In my conferences and workshops to professionals, I invite attendees to revise their own work and service delivery and together formulate changes that will promote stronger partnerships between service providers and families.

The duration and content of this conference will be tailored for each specific event. It can be delivered as a short presentation or a more in-depth training workshop. Contact me for more details.
